Trattoria Pizzeria da Gianni

Trattoria Pizzeria da Gianni is just a few dozen meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in Castiadas and a few km from Villasimius. Since 1976, this family-run restaurant has been serving the specialties of our land, seafood, and excellent pizzas!
The restaurant is located in a rustic building that was part of the old penal colony of Castiadas, and features a large indoor dining room, welcoming bar, outdoor veranda, and a spacious garden surrounded by the greenery of our countryside.
Traditional Sardinian cuisine, served with courtesy and simplicity, ranges from typical land-based recipes:

• typical appetizers;
• some first courses: malloreddus alla campidanese; fresh ricotta ravioli, potato ravioli, tagliolini, and homemade daily specials;
• some main courses: porceddu, spit-roasted lamb, and grilled meats.

Recipes inspired by the products of our seas:

• seafood appetizers;
• fregula with seafood or clams;
• spaghetti with seafood;
• grilled fish main courses, fried fish, or fish cooked in parchment, or prepared according to our customers’ requests.

All accompanied by good local wines and liqueurs and, to finish, the traditional sebadas and original desserts created with taste and imagination.

Services
We offer lunch and dinner with fixed menus and à la carte; pizzas baked in our wood-fired oven; banquets for ceremonies, wedding services, business lunches, and senior and school group outings. We can provide accommodation in a rustic and comfortable setting with overnight stays available (two double rooms + one double room with bathroom for disabled guests in the room).
